Description **Kelly Scientific is assisting one of our great customers in a search for a master bench technologist**

**Research Associate** to join the team of a dynamic, fast-paced biotechnology company. A successful candidate is a highly motivated individual with an interest in stem cell therapeutics. Extensive knowledge of cell biology, including hands-on experience with cell culture and biological assays, is required. This position will report to the Scientist, and in this role, primary responsibilities will be to:


+ Design and execute experiments independently in:

+ FLOW Cytometry/ELISA/Biochem;

+ Heavy cell culture

+ growth assays--96 well and cell factory type
+ Analyze and interpret assay data including statistical analysis, and the impact of process changes on the final cell product. Capable of achieving deliverables in a timely fashion;
+ Write and revise technical documents including SOPs, study protocols and reports;
+ Maintain a clear, detailed laboratory notebook and manage large databases;
+ Critically analyze and present data at lab meetings; and
+ Assist other team members in the design and trouble-shooting of experiments.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ B.S. degree in a biological scientific discipline with at least 6 years of laboratory experience or Master’s with 3 years of experience;
+ Ability to follow established protocols and formulate sound and precise experimental strategies;
+ Energetic, motivated, positive individual who possesses strong attention to detail;
+ Leadership qualities and the ability to work well under tight deadlines;
+ Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting;
+ Strong written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze scientific data, and turn data and results into polished reports.
