Location: San Diego

Research Associate -

Kelly Services is seeking an outstanding individual with a broad range of skills to support the successful discovery of fully human antibody drug candidates from the company Mouse platform.

+ The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and able to multitask in an exciting, fast-paced environment, working to discover the next generation of breakthrough antibody drugs.

+ Responsibilities Maintenance of mammalian cell lines for cell-based assays for multiple projects.

+ Antibody screening utilizing ELISA, flow cytometry and cell-based functional assays. Reagent preparation and keeping inventory up to date.

+ Take on the role of an independent and creative researcher who demonstrates initiative in experimental design and execution, including troubleshooting.

+ Work closely with other team members and leaders supporting multiple drug discovery projects.

+ Effectively present and communicate concepts and results, both orally and in writing, to the team. Qualifications Key Skills and


+ Plan A:

+ Bachelors degree in science-related discipline

+ In-vivo experience and tissue culture, handling mice and injections (IP, SC, IV), great if they have experience collecting blood from cheek

+ Will consider candidates coming from either academia or industry

+ Experience presenting studies and data gathered (experience with Powerpoint, Excel)

+ Do not need to have flow cytometry or ELISA experience will have the opportunity to learn/be trained on the job

+ Soft skills: willing to learn, team player, strong communicator

Plan B:

+ Bachelors degree in science-related discipline

+ Willing to learn and have a desire to want to work with mice

Interview process: first Zoom call

+ 2-3 hour onsite to meet rest of the team

+ No relocation assistance offered for this position.
