Job Description:

The SRA I will assist with recruitment of adult and adolescent anorexia nervosa, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), gender dysphoria (GD), and non-clinical control participants for ongoing research protocols. This person will work in a team setting with other faculty researchers, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, undergraduate students, research assistants, and volunteers. This person will work under the supervision of the study Principal Investigators Dr. Jamie Feusner and Dr. Ivanka Savic-Berglund, and also will receive direction from the Research Coordinator. They will be required to attend weekly general research meetings and additional weekly recruitment meetings.

 

Job Qualifications:

Strong work ethic; must have consistent attendance and puncutality

Ability to conduct data collection and data entry for lab research studies
Skill in organizing the recruitment of subjects according to sequential priority
Strong attention to detail: ability to accurately schedule patient and administrative appointments
Organizational skills to effectively manage files and data
Skill in preparing clinical trials research submissions
Strong interpersonal/communication skills to conduct interviews and similar communications with confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism
Ability to consistently interact appropriately, diplomatically and positively with staff, faculty, students, and patients.
Ability to work independently and to follow through on assignments with minimal direction
Ability to learn how to administer various neuropsychological testing procedures
Ability to analyze data and present them in feedback reports
Strong English language skills in editing reports, correspondence and manuals
Ability to work effectively with under pressure ,and with frequent interruptions, and changing priorities, to meet deadlines

Experience and proficiency in using SPSS and Microsoft Office software programs
