Kelly Scientific is hiring a **Research Associate** for a for a cutting-edge therapeutics company in the beautiful Downtown Seattle Area. This is an 8 month- temporary role



The Research Associate will work in a collaborative environment to improve the performance of process analytics testing to support therapeutics development programs. This position will be a floating position reporting to the manager of the Throughput, Efficiency, and Development team but also be supporting the Analytical Core. The incumbent will join a group that values efficiency, high productivity, and teamwork.



**Key responsibilities include:**




+ Executing established methods to support process development studies.

+ These methods include Flow Cytometry, qPCR, co-culture, and multi-parameter potency assays.

+ Supporting current and on-going projects aimed at increasing throughput and efficiency for the Analytical Core team.

+ Heavy collaboration between the team and external teams to support high throughput analytical support.

+ Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks.

+ Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results

+ Order, track, maintain inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and equipment



**Required Qualifications**




+ BS in a scientific discipline with 1-3 years (1+ years with MS)

+ Solid knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and data analysis

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and in cross functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects

+ Required 1+ years experience with aseptic cell culture, co-culture, or cell-based assays to measure potency such as ELISA, Luminex, or MSD

+ Experience with software such as Softmax, Flowjo, JMP, or Prism a plus.

+ Experience working in a self-driven, performance/results oriented, fast paced matrix environment.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency utilizing MS Office products.

+ Able to creatively manage time and elevate relevant issues to manager

+ Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Flexibility to work rotating offset shifts (early morning, evening and/or weekend shifts) when needed
