+ Conduct experiments to elucidate the mechanistic biology of candidate target, generating relevant engineered cell models, and perform a variety of growth assays upon chemical or genetic perturbation.

+ Conduct detailed data analyses and will present these data in relevant forums.


+ Education: Ph.D. degree or BS/MS degree with 5 years experience in one of the following disciplines: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.

+ Must have experience with mammalian cell biology and cell culture, western blotting, qPCR, siRNA, shRNA, and CRISPR technology.

+ Experience in colony formation assays and cell viability assays

+ Experience in target knockdown experiments using siRNA, shRNA, or CRISPR

+ Experience in generating stable cell lines

+ Experience in microscopy and live imaging

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a pro-active attitude.

+ Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential.

+ Attention to detail and enthusiasm for implementing basic science knowledge to inform drug discovery efforts are a must.
