Description **Revit Designer - Drafter / Design Checker**

**Location: Englewood, CO 80112**

**Direct Hire - Full Time - Perm**

**Rate: DOE Hourly W2**

Mechanical CAD/Revit Designer is responsible for providing a full range of drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on assignments of substantial variety and complexity.

Work involves coordination of project vertical transportation applications with Consultants and Architects as well as applies formulas, principles and practices.

The right person for this role will be able to investigate, develop, and/or calculate standard and custom applications for vertical transportation equipment including, critical dimensions, code compliance, electrical requirements and related technical data.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of building/construction or elevator systems.

Read and understand architectural drawings.

Strong communication skills;

written, verbal, internal and external Ability to learn, evaluate, understand and interpret elevator codes domestic and international.

Complete and coordinate VT application drawings, files, and submittals for large scale projects consisting of multiple buildings in either CAD or BIM.

Strong AutoCAD, Revit, math, geometry, problem solving skills.

Must enjoy detail-oriented work and be able to manage multiple priorities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree in Architecture/Engineering, drafting or related area required.

Certifications in Revit competency.

Must have minimum of 3 years of work/production experience using AutoCAD.

Minimum 2 years of Revit production experience in a commercial setting.
