**Customer Support Representative I** - Shreveport, LA

**Pay:25,000.00 28,000.00 per year**

**Job Responsibilities:** Front desk customer service greets customers in person or over the phone. Takes in cash/credit card/check payments. Handles loan/credit applications by explaining the terms and conditions of the account to consumer. Enters customer s personal information into the loan origination system and submits the application for a system decision. Keys sales orders, invoices, payments, returns and credit memos accurately into Profit point-of-sale computer system . Balances out and prepares daily business finance reports. Works NSF returned checks. Keeps customers up to date on status of merchandise orders and follows up with layaway customers on payments. Schedules deliveries. Prints delivery pick list, invoices and schedule for drivers. Prepares warranty and repair parts purchase orders, places the orders and receives items. Reconciles accounts receivable. Processes vendor charge backs. Files paperwork. Communicates with people outside the company, represents the company to customers, the public, and other external sources. Able and willing to work retail hours; including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

**Work Experience and Skills Needed:** One or more years of retail or customer service experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience with point-of-sale systems, Profit experience would be a plus but not required. Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, computers, printers, fax machines. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Email. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and sales associates providing excellent customer service through appropriate greetings, verification of contact information, patience, and helpfulness. Excellent organizational skills and time management skills. Careful attention to detail and thorough in completing tasks. A pleasant, tactful personality. Displays honesty and integrity at all times. Strong work ethic who shows up on time and when scheduled.
