Description **Job Description**

Kelly Services is now hiring for a Health and Safety Analyst/ Trainer in Horseheads, NY. Long term temporary position position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Duties:

Analyst-Coordinate and implement incident reporting, investigation and analysis.

- Ensure new cases are documented on a timely basis (daily is preferred)

- Monitor and maintain quality data for all cases

- Monitor and manage timelines for High Profile Incident case deliverables ensuring that all required documents are attached to the file.

- Plan and schedule required training courses to ensure users are familiar with Synergi

- Coordinate meetings regarding reporting information, statistics and case status as required

o Participate in incident investigations as assigned

o Participate in process safety hazard assessments as required

o Participate in inspections and field days in order to fully understand data and effectively monitor SMART actions

Participate in and conduct HSE training as outlined in the current work plan

Training Coordinator- Coordinate and implement the Worker Competency associated training records and programs in accordance with Corporate and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain the training matrix: up to date FTE and FTEE names, required and optional course names, expiry dates, refresher training requirements, and available vendors

- Coordinate with FTE and FTEE-s, supervisors, managers and contractors regarding required and upcoming training

- Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure an effective new-hire on-boarding process is developed and sustained

- Plan and schedule required training courses

- Maintain an accurate database of training certificates for FTE and FTEE-s

- Review training records, compile data and provide required reports to supervisors, managers and contractors

- Review required training and source appropriate vendors

- Coordinate student evaluations for courses and vendors and provide recommendations for improvements where required

- Monitor costs of training vendors and provide appropriate options where required

- Provide planning and budgetary information regarding training to supervisors and managers where required

- Maintain the task observation matrix: up to date FTE and FTEE names, required and optional task observations, frequencies of observations required

- Maintain the Veriforce system for Operator Qualifications

o Provide training where required i.e. New Hire Orientation

o Complete task observations where required i.e. New Hire Orientation

o Communicate worker competency information on SharePoint where required

o Develop safety meeting and training materials as required in conjunction with HSE Specialists
