**Kelly** is currently seeking a long-term **Safety Lead** to join a leading team in **Beaumont, Texas** ! The role of a Safety Manager is to act as a resource for coworkers about how to uphold regulatory safety standards and complete tasks while limiting risk of bodily injury. Safety Managers share knowledge with their team by conducting training and creating informational materials that they post around the workplace.


Safety Leads also handle administrative aspects of workplace safety like applying for permits, purchasing safety equipment and investing in designs that limit risk. They confirm that all of their employees have the appropriate certifications to operate forklifts and set standards for testing and maintenance to prevent dangerous incidents.


The scope of this position will encompass the Safety and Performance of all Full Time and Part Time Kelly Business Professional Outsourcing (BPO) employees including management and oversight. This position also covers Kelly Temporary Employees that may be employed within the client operation.


**Safety Lead Responsibilities:**


+ Manage Loss Prevention Opportunities including Near Losses and Feedback sessions.

+ Assign and ensure completion of LPOs (one per week; four per month)

+ Ensure Short-Worker-Program is in use and effective

+ Plans, coordinates, and supervises the Safety of the program.

+ Provides guidance and direction to employees in the resolution of daily problems and issues

+ Familiarizes employees with established organization procedures, rules and regulations.

+ Provide employees with developmental opportunities and continuous training.

+ Responsible for Kelly Safety program (Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly)

+ Responsible for Feedback Sessions with Lab Techs and Service Group.

+ Responsible for Quarterly Safety Reviews

+ Responsible for Daily Field Observations

+ Responsible for Safety at both B&P and BPEP Locations

+ Participate in Buddy Manager Walk and Safety Tours

+ Responsible for completing the BM scorecard

+ Weekly Safety Visits to other client labs (BPEP & B&P)

+ Provide Safety data to client upon request


**Qualifications:**


+ Minimum of an Associate Degree or BS in Manufacturing Management

+ 1-3 years of experience in managing a Safety Program within a manufacturing environment

+ Advance to Moderate level of computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel and Outlook & SharePoint.

+ Preferred certifications in Emergency Response, OSHA regulations,

+ Good organizational skills.

+ Ability to work across all business functions

+ Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions.

+ Knowledge of data collection practices

+ Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
