A publicly traded, national biotech corporation is seeking a Sales Director of Investor Development to target investor accounts predominantly located in New York and surrounding East Coast states, and within the capital market space. The company is based out of California, so this role will always be 100% remote.


+ Direct hire from day one

+ Remote

+ Salary range is between $150k-$180k+bonuses+ generous equity

+ Daily schedule is flexible (East Coast hours are preferred)

+ The position is required to travel to business meetings, events, and conferences as needed, predominantly on the East Coast (New York and Boston)

+ Role is supported by the VP level based in California

**BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION** (actual, full job description will be sent to qualified applicants)

+ The Sales Director of Investor Development will target capital market and potential investors

+ Target existing and new accounts via warm leads and cold calling

+ Speak and meet with potential stock investors (capital markets and retail investors)

+ Create and write PR marketing releases


+ May reside anywhere in the contiguous U.S. but East Coast is preferred as most events and conventions are based on the East Coast (New York and Boston)

+ Bachelors degree or work equivalency will suffice

+ Must have biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience (no exceptions)

+ Previous sales experience interacting with potential investors

+ Exceptional written skills as role will be required to produce PR marketing releases

+ Buy and sell industry experience is preferred, but sell side is crucial
