Scientific Account Representative Business Development

Biotech Industry

Immediate Opportunity available for a confident Sales Representative to provide sales support and grow the business for a Contract Testing Laboratory.

Remote position, some travel

Base Salary plus commission

**Responsibilities Include:**

1. Identify and develop new business relationships with accounts in the assigned business sector

2. Maintain and build relationships with the currently assigned client base

3. Ensure that a high level of customer service is provided for all assigned accounts

4. Visit or communicate electronically with at least 10 new prospective accounts per month

5. Review and/or prepare RFPs and RFQs; initiate CDAs and MSAs

6. Provide client presentations and prepare client-specific presentations to respond to client needs

7. Assist in decisions involving price structure and price negotiations

8. Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations

9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge; participate in industry tradeshow and conferences

10. Review assigned accounts in the CRM for accuracy, and maintain it up to date

**Additional responsibilities;**

Communicate effectively and in a timely manner internally with scientific and senior staff, as well as externally to clients and prospective clients clearly about project/client needs

Respond to phone and web inquiries received at the office

Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned

Analytical lab skills or knowledge preferred, bio-analytical & agrichemical

Looking for someone to drive the business and take ownership of accounts


Must Have Knowledge of chemistry in any relevant field

Experience in selling either Bioanalytical, Agrosciences or analytical testing services a plus

3-7 years experience ; can be based anywhere in the USA

Excellent Commission structure
