Kelly Scientific is currently seeking a **Scientific Marketing Analytics Consultant** for a full time role in **Whippany, New Jersey.**

+ **Travel Requirements:** At least 4 days on site in Whippany NJ

The Advanced Analytics & Data Science group is focusing on key projects with potential growth or savings opportunity for the Consumer Health portfolio, including Marketing Mix analytics, pricing analytics, and ad-hoc projects. Each project addresses specific business questions, and provides actionable recommendations to Senior Leadership, Sales Leadership, the brand teams, Finance and other key stakeholders.

**Position Summary:**

The purpose of this position is to run advanced analytics and produce actionable insights that inform marketing and pricing plans for Consumer Health. The analyst supporting this function evaluates Bayer Consumer Health's marketing investment, sales activities, and pricing plans and actions, and leverages advanced analytical techniques to uncover potential opportunities to maximize consumption and profit. These analyses, insights and evaluations will be the basis from which Business Units, Sales Leadership and Leadership will alter their strategies and resources to improve business outcomes.

**Position Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Manage all the data requirements for marketing mix modeling for ETL, QC, database dictionary, integration, reporting, and data marts.

+ Conduct ad-hoc advanced analytics, including simulations and optimizations, to address specific business questions from senior management, brand and sales teams, media engagement, Finance and other key stakeholders

+ Partner with and support key stakeholders and teams in formulating business questions and generating actionable insights

+ Conduct post-hoc analytics to assess the impact of implemented marketing programs and price actions.

+ Provide daily project management support for Marketing Mix analytics and Pricing analytics

+ Create analytical presentations, reports and dashboards

+ Ad-hoc support for regular marketing and pricing analytics reporting

+ Support media strategy and platform, Brands and agencies in data inputs collection and validation and fulfilling data and reports needs

+ Develop short term attribution models by linking sales to media exposures across all media types

+ Create Anomaly detection models to Identify anomalies in POS sales data using machine learning algorithms

+ Work independently in a virtual, networked environment. Deliver project outcomes.

**Education Requirement(s):**

+ Master's Degree in Management Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science or other quantitative disciplines

**Skill & Competency Requirements:**

+ 5+ years of hands-on advanced analytics and modeling experience such as marketing mix analytics, pricing elasticity analytics, sales effectiveness and commercial analytics, Media Attribution Modeling, Anomaly detection, AI/ML

**Position Requirements:**

+ Expertise in Python/R/SPSS/SAS/Tableau/Statistics.

+ Expertise in Machine Learning; working knowledge of Econometric Modeling, Logistic Regression, Bayesian Regression, Discrete Choice Modeling and Decision Trees

+ Familiar with CPG/OTC marketing data, information, and analysis including IRI/Nielsen POS, Media data, Digital media, consumer promotion data, sales research and analysis.

+ Well versed in diverse quantitative/statistical techniques such as multivariate statistical analysis, clustering and classification, Bayesian statistics, and time series analysis;

+ Motivation to collaborate with a diverse, innovative team;

+ Strong project management skills and organization skills

+ Proficient in one or more of the following: SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, R, SPSS, Python


+ PHD in Management Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Administration preferred

+ Broad research and consulting experience in marketing science and market research, advanced and strategic analytics, econometrics modeling
