We are currently seeking a **Scientific Program Analyst** to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in **Bethesda, MD.**



**OVERVIEW.** This is a long-term, open-ended contract position which offers:

**TASKS/SERVICES.** The contractor shall:




+ Program Management support:

+ Work with staff on long- and short-range planning, coordinating, prioritizing and organizing the NIA/BSR (Behavioral and Social Research) contribution to various Collaboratory activities.

+ Track milestones and budgets.

+ Track clinical trials funded through the Collaboratory.

+ Work with program staff and project scientists on NIH tracking and monitoring of human subject research such as enrollment, sample acquisition and compliance with central Institutional Review Board (IRB).

+ Identify and manage key milestones and deliverables, inform the involved individuals and partners of progress and next steps.

+ Communications Support:

+ Provide support for collaborative Calendar activities.

+ Liaison with grantees and NIA staff in BSR and other divisions and Institutes.

+ Work with staff on the preparation of presentations for conferences, including preparing abstracts.

+ Meetings and Conference Support:

+ Serve as the NIH point-of-contact for scheduling Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) meetings in which NIA staff are involved.

+ Coordinate logistics for in-person meetings, teleconferences or videoconferences hosted by NIA (e.g., Data Safety Monitoring Board meetings).

+ Work with staff to arrange teleconferences and face-to-face internal NIH meetings.

+ Work with staff to design, develop and prepare documents such as spreadsheets, letters, rosters, agendas, presentations and meeting minutes/summaries.

+ Respond to questions sent to Collaboratory-specific mailboxes (e.g., regarding CT approvals).

+ Review and Analysis:

+ Review and track pilot requests for compliance with NIH and NIA CT policy on: involvement of human subjects, public access to results of research, financial conflict of interest, and resource sharing

+ Process Data Use Agreement requests to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other agencies.

+ Draft and communicate plans and templates for processes, which will remain the property of BSR.





**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:




+ Master's degree in Public Policy, Psychology, Public Health or a related social or behavioral science-related discipline.

+ Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Biology or a related field.

+ Minimum of one (1) year of experience in clinical research or management of clinical trials.

+ Current certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Clinical Research Associate (CCRA).

+ Excellent proactive project management and problem-solving skills.

+ Expertise in meeting management.

+ Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).

+ Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational and time management skills.

+ Strong analytical and communications skills, both oral and written.
