Method Development Scientist


Primary role is to develop analytical method validation protocols and summary reports


Qualification, Validation, Verification and Transfers to support the transition to cGMP testing client products according to SOPs, policies, cGMPs and regulatory guidelines.


This is a fulltime position working days, Monday- Friday 1st shift


State of the art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of a drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives


+ The Role Accurately perform analytical testing following SOPs and validation protocols

+ Assist in developing and qualifying/validating analytical methods without supervision

+ Reviews and verifies analytical data and reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency

+ Performs general lab housekeeping, ordering and stocking supplies, etc.

+ Authors technical documents such as Analytical Methods, Standard Operating Procedures, Qualification/Validation reports.


Trains laboratory staff on analytical techniques and provides support in troubleshooting Identifies and makes recommendations on efficiency and/or business opportunities within the group


Bachelor s degree in science field with 3-5 years of experience, including 1 year of GMP experience or other regulated industry Master s degree in science field with 0-2 years of experience, including 1 year of GMP experience or regulated industry PhD in science field with 0-2 years of experience, including GMP experience preferred or regulated industry.


Technical Experience preferred : QC Method Validations/Transfers per ICH Guidelines, knowledge/exp of testing techniques: DNA Isolation and Quantitation, Gel Electrophoresis Horizontal and Vertical , DNA qPCR ; Experience with the following techniques: Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA s, HPLC/UHPLC,


Familiarity with USP/EP/JP Compendia.
