**_Nissan in Franklin, Tennessee seeks the following:_**

**Title:** **Security Technical Specialist** **II**

This position is responsible for performing asset monitoring and change control policy enforcement via white-listing, access control, and compliance tracking for servers and end user devices. The candidate will develop skills in a wide range of hosting protection practices and interface with the Information Security team to implement policies that protect the Nissan North America environment.

**Job Functions:**

+ Monitors, maintains, and updates the console for security whitelists for end user and server/storage devices in the Nissan North America (NNA) environment.

+ Assists the leadership team in implementing the security strategy to protect the NNA environment.

+ Reviews access to assist in providing data access using principles of least privilege.

+ Addresses alerts, issues, and modifications to white-list capabilities in conjunction with Nissan security teams and recommendations from Nissan and vendor support.

+ Responsible for communications between the business unit, IS core team, and vendor providing IS services related to the area of expertise.

+ Assists leadership in determining guidelines for communication links.

+ Reviews and analyzes application or technical resource usage and mitigates situations that may cause usage to exceed approved, authorized levels.

+ Takes proactive measures to avoid service disruptions.

+ Reviews and researches proposed deviations and escalates them to appropriate levels.

+ Escalates issues with vendors as needed and facilitates the resolution of cross company issues. Facilitates the resolution of technical issues in order to keep projects on schedule.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree with 5 Years overall IS/IT experience, **or equivalent experience.**

+ Experience working with multi-vendor technology teams.

+ Experience with vendor management in an outsourced environment.

+ Experience using or managing Carbon Black Protection. Experience with virtual server environments VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.

+ Experience managing Public and Private Cloud implementations (particularly AWS) a plus.

+ Ability to manage and resolve incidents as they occur by working with multiple third party vendors to ensure maintenance and support is carried out effectively among all parties.

+ Familiarity with various operating systems, and computer hardware platforms.
