**Title:** **Senior Analyst Analytics**

This position is on the Dealer facing team. The Sr. Analyst is someone who is very curious on what the data might reveal, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and a can do attitude. The Sr. Analyst has a passion for digging into the data to help answer complex business questions by leveraging insights generated from our dealer data.

**Job Requirements:**


+ Lead programs and projects in building analytic insights and solutions within Sales and Marketing for dealer facing applications and systems.
+ Generate solution options through collaboration among the business unit, information systems core team, and the information systems vendor's global services.
+ Display thought leadership by developing strategic roadmaps for building new analytic capabilities for Sales and Marketing dealer facing systems.
+ Using tools such as R-Studio and Tableau, generate insights and recommendations based upon analysis.
+ Demonstrated both a strong business sense and high logic programming skills.
+ Provide excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions.
+ Present clear, concise recommendations to executive level.
+ Specializes in Data Management & Analytics, requiring functional and technical knowledge, including data architecture, data warehouse, business intelligence, analytics, and the big data solution
+ Responsible for investigating processes, technology, cost, and strategy while identifying options for improving and bridging the needs of the business with the use of Information Systems and Technology as an internal consultant
+ This position is primarily business customer facing responsible for adhering to standards established in the organization.
+ Lead the analysis in resolving incidents as they occur by working with multiple third party vendors to ensure maintenance and support is carried out effectively among all parties
+ Understand, interpret, and suggest resolution to technical systematic issues and communicates these issues effectively to management ,and peers
+ Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
+ ETL – Informatica, etc. Data Warehouse/BI/Analytics – Tableau, Business Objects, or other (Microstrategy, SAP BW, Cognos, Lumira, Ql ikView, etc.)Data Quality Master Data Management Databases/data analysis – e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL, OLAP, PL/SQL Unstructured data, big data technologies – Hortonworks/Hadoop, Python, RWaterfall and agile/scrum project management methodologies
+ Ability to lead the team’s efforts to implement approved actions and workarounds with vendors minimizing risk.
+ Work independently with users to define concepts under minimal direction
+ Execute detailed data mining and analysis and validate findings per system requirements
+ Technical troubleshooting of detailed data issues to uncover root cause and remediate
+ Review system requirements to ensure data expectations reflect data needs from a business and technical perspective
**Minimum Qualifications:**


+ Strong analytic solution skills and ability to build and leverage relationships
+ Strong drive to execute on solutions
+ Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
+ Understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts
+ Previous managerial/team leading experience would be a plus but is not essential
+ 2+ Years developing with Tableau
+ 1+ Years conducting data analysis and mining using tools such as R-Studio or SaS
+ Working knowledge and/or experience with the following technologies desired:
+ ETL – (Cast Iron, Informatica, etc.)
+ Data Warehouse/BI/Analytics – (Microstrategy, SAP BW, Business Objects, Cognos, Lumira, Tableau, etc.)
+ Databases/data analysis – (RDBMS, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL, MSAccess, OLAP, PL/SQL, Python, R)
+ Knowledge of Big data - HDFS, Hive, Pig, HBASE, Spark, Kafka, Flume
**Experience:**


+ **15 Years overall IS/IT experience with at least:**
• 10 years combination of application development and/or systems architect experience.

• 10 years of experience in working with various third party vendors.

• Prior experience working with off-shore personnel is a plus.
