Description **Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting & Reporting**
**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Senior Analyst, who will work closely with the Financial Controller in overseeing the monthly consolidation and financial close & reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES


+ Assist the Financial Controller and other accounting and finance departments in implementing strong processes, systems, and procedures to drive efficiencies and high-quality financial reporting.
+ Collaborate cross functionally with other teams (IT, accounting and finance, etc.) in system and process implementation projects. Provide system change requirements, conduct system change blueprint, IT testing, and resolve any issues related to the projects. As a representative of the Corporate Accounting team, provide clear communication to the implementation team on critical path, potential areas of risk related to the accounting, and project status.
+ Actively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure. + Responsible, together with the General Accounting department, to ensure that we meet our month-end/quarter-end close and deadlines.
+ Support close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance sheet/income statement variance analysis.
+ Responsible for intercompany eliminations and reconciliation
+ Support internal and external audit requests timely and accurately.
+ Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed.
+ Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls for assigned areas.
+ Review contracts and amendments for financial considerations
+ Analyze fluctuations and variances in internal reporting
+ Prepare ad hoc reporting to support various departments and levels across the organization
+ Lead or assist with Special Projects, as needed
+ Ensure compliance with local and statutory filing requirements REQUIREMENTS


+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
+ 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and/or 5+ years of industry experience in related fields (experience in Corporate Accounting preferred).
+ Detail oriented, highly organized, motivated and able to function in a fast paced environment, especially during month end reporting periods.
+ CPA license a plus
+ Prior accounting experience in multi-unit, food service or retail industry a plus
+ Knowledge of Lawson (or other ERP) and Hyperion (HFM)
+ Strong fundamental accounting knowledge
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
+ Excellent communication and project management skills
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and oversee multiple projects at once
+ Highly organized, great attention to detail, and strong ability to multitask
