Description As a Senior Cost Analyst you will have responsibility for ensuring financial integrity of the business through comprehensive analysis of gross and contribution margins as well as providing product profitability measurement.

Key Responsibilities include:

•Review business activity and accounts to support accurate and timely submission of financial statements

•Analyze service and distribution costs for inventory accountability, distribution of labor (labor efficiency/rate), verification of actual costs and computation and explanation of variance analysis.

•Support for the analysis on standard cost of product, margins and inventory

•Coordination with the supply chain team, service departments and order fulfillment teams in order to monitor PPV as well as reviewing trending for E&O review.

•Assist in Month End closing and year end closing by preparing required schedules

•Preparation and development of monthly reporting and financial packages with detailed explanations of key drivers.

•Provide reporting and analysis for all manufacturing activity including productivity, capital & department spending, forecasting, budgeting, absorption, sales, inventory and operations planning, etc.

•Develop transactional level understanding of the ERP system and identify solutions as issues arise.

•Active participant in identifying and driving key efficiencies within the existing ERP system which include project application enhancements which deliver a return on investment.

•Support the capital appropriation process and calculation of return on investment.

•Contribute in preparation of the annual budget and forecasting for plant operations.

•Ad-hoc reporting to support key deliverables and management decisions with Qualitative and quantitative analysis of financial accounting data, including areas that require significant judgment.

•Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Cost & FP&A based in Morgan Hill, CA

**Job Knowledge/Experience & Qualifications**

•Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or Economics from four-year College or university or equivalent manufacturing experience

•Very strong cost accounting skills, knowledge and expertise within a complex manufacturing environment

•Excellent communication skills and ability to create positive relationships at all levels

•Aptitude to process financial data and formulate analytical reports and reconciliations. Ability to think strategically from high level with consideration for broader implications of various alternatives.

•Capable of explaining complex accounting transactions in language understandable to non-finance people

•In depth experience among Microsoft Office applications and ERP software
