The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will oversee and improve manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new products and processes, as well as ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.

**Primary Responsibilities**

+ Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; soliciting observations from operators.

+ Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.

+ Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

+ Review quality and material standards of each product to make sure there are no problems.

+ Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.

+ Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs and reviewing production schedules.

+ Generate an accurate database of all production details and data.

+ Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

+ Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.

+ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien Status required

+ Bachelors degree / 4-year degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred.

+ Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing processes and techniques.

+ Must be willing and able to obtain security clearance within six months of employment

+ Experience using CAD required, Pro-e preferred

+ Knowledge of ITAR considered a plus

+ Proficient in data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite
