Senior Manufacturing Software Engineer


Hybrid2 or 3 days onsite per week.


We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Software Engineer, who will be working on Manufacturing applications for medical device manufacturing. You will gain experience in developing Window base applications predominantly in Visual Studio C#/C++ environment. You will be a member of the Software Engineering team to develop Manufacturing software for testing and calibrating instruments and supporting in-house pilot builds.


Prototypes, design, implement and maintain the manufacturing testing/calibration software application by using C#/C++ while adhering to software development and source control processes.


Projects will include to work with cross function teams to find root cause of MFG SW testing failure at contract manufacturing, debug on both MFG SW and FW sides, improve the module build yield at CM.


Participate in new state of art architecture design for next generation of MFG SW, which includes common UI for multiple platforms, interaction with cloud server. Projects will involve multi-layers of back-end logic development, as well as data analysis, data acquisition, hardware interfacing and control, and GUI development.


Work with cross-functional project teams with engineers, verification team and SQA to test, verify and validate MFG SW


**Qualifications**


BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with experience in developing window/browser/tablet base applications or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level


Minimum 8+ years of progressively responsible work experience in engineering.


A team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills


Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


Knowledge of hardware and software integration and testing


Willing to learn new concepts, technologies, products, and tools


**Preferred Qualifications**


Deep knowledge of C#/Visual C+ Experience in application design, debug, and testing in windows environment.


Experience developing GUIs with C#/Visual C+ Experience with SQL, XML, OOP/OOD


Experience with UI layout tools is a plus


Knowledge cloud program development is a plus
