**Job Description**



This is for a Project Manager role within the GRC Unit. This IT/business professional works under the direction of the Unit and Team Managers and contributes to the global and regional IT project management, analysis, administration, documentation, and other key project support tasks.



This PM position requires the ability to quickly understand business/technical processes and activities for the IS project and document them into meeting minutes, update project plans, procedures, presentations, etc. that will support the project and team objectives. This position requires both broad project and hands-on tactical tasks to complete deliverables while working with local & virtual teams. The PM must have strong real-time Microsoft Office skills, customer orientation, be very results oriented, have broad IT understanding, strong project methodology, excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical understandings, very detailed oriented and complete tasks with the utmost quality. Proven successes as a PM are required with a similar position in the last few years is required.





**Responsibilities:**



Hands-on project manager for project support across quality, cost, delivery, team morale, and other areas for critical projects.



Documentation of key deliverables based on the business/security processes including project plans, planning calendars, presentations, requirements, communication plans, budgets, end user training, policies, meeting minutes, and other documents.



Handles broad project and tactical communications (by phone, email, meetings, etc.) with project team members and other stakeholders for the Team/Program Leads.



Works closely with small regional planning virtual team or larger teams in meeting the project objectives.



Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.





**Academic/Experience/Competency**



**Education/Training:**



- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent degree (Required.)



- PMI certification as PMO (Preferred.)





**Business Experience**



Proven ability to work with and across all levels of the organizations and navigate organizational boundaries



Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with strong written, oral, and presentation skills; both delivery and creation of presentations (must be able to distill complex topics into simple concepts)



Ability to effectively communicate with various audiences and develop and maintain strong peer/client/customer relationships underpinned by a service oriented approach to work



Extremely organized, detail-oriented, with strong time-management, tasks and projects prioritization skills



High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exude the appropriate level of judgment and maturity



High degree of initiative, attention to detail, follow-up skills, deliver on commitments, dependability and ability to work with little supervision



Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capability to drive process improvements



Ability to effectively communicate with various audiences and develop and maintain strong peer/client/customer relationships underpinned by a service oriented approach to work



Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capability to drive process improvements



Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint; and SharePoint administration.





**Daily Tasks Performed**





Determine operational objectives by researching business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats



Determine and document GRC requirements and other technical or business processes and policy lifecycles



Construct workflow charts and diagrams, documenting internal processes and procedures for GRC Unit



Assist with risk identification, analysis, tracking, monitoring, documenting exceptions, and communicating statuses



Perform risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business;



Improve technical and business processes by studying current practices, identifying problems and recommending solutions



Assist with monitoring project progress, tracking non-compliance activities; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions



Perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews, project updates, and provide reports to Management



Assist with education, training and support to staff to build risk awareness within the organization



Maintain current documentation of all related activities for GRC Unit



Perform other assigned tasks as needed for GRC Unit

Previous working experience with GRC and in Information Technology with defining, analyzing, and documenting process, procedures related to disciplines within IT



Understanding of regulated environment or related IT audit background



and Information security related projects.
