The Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst will assist the Asset planner in developing and maintaining the 0 36 month supply plan for the site assets as part of the global end to end supply chain. This also includes site plan, capacities, inventory, and planning designs. They engage with the PETs to secure the supply chain perspective at site. This requires close collaboration with global planning and site process execution teams to ensure site capabilities are accurately understood, supply plans are well developed and able to be executed, and future targets are meaningful and achievable.

The key processes locally owned/executed by this role include maintaining master planning in SAP/APO, orchestrating the franchise production plan, assist in leading meetings to ensure valid MPS and measure plan adherence, manage Monovalent Bulk (MB), and communicate seasonal progress to Sr. Management through reports and presentations with PP/Excel. The role provides analytical support to the franchise and is accountable for managing several inventory and SOX processes to ensure appropriate financial reporting and controls.

Impact of Role on the Business:

The principle accountability of the SCC role is to assist the Asset Planner in creating and maintaining a feasible and optimal supply plan over 0 -36 month horizon for assigned assets.

Feasible = high level of confidence it will be delivered; any risk of issues that could affect customer service flagged, communication with agreed mitigation / recovery strategy.

Optimized = Meets customer needs based on agreed service targets, factory costs and constraints.

The key processes locally owned/executed by this role include Renewal, Events Management and Asset Allocation. The role provides analytical support to the PET and is accountable for managing several inventory and SOX processes to ensure appropriate financial reporting and controls.

Job Responsibilities

Identifies capacity concerns in the 0-36 month horizon and develop solutions to resolve or requests for help.

Ensures master data and production plan is accurate in APO and valid dependent demand is visible for next node.

Resolves scheduling issues and concerns in the 0-3 month horizon once escalated.

Runs a robust pre-S&OP process that ensures sites assets can meet executable 24 month plan in APO.

Provides standardized site input to the product S&OP and actively attend the meeting to discuss imbalances and supply planning optimizations.

Ensures robust site to site demand and supply meetings occur between site and sites suppliers and customers.

Develops and commits the site production and inventory budget.

Develops and maintains the seasonal supply plan for the Flu Franchise.

Seeks and utilizes input across the franchise supply network to evaluate capacity for fill and finish to create and maintain the master production schedule.

Analyses supply capabilities and recommend changes to resources to adapt to prospective change. This requires close collaboration with Operations Strategy and site process execution teams to ensure site capabilities are accurately understood, supply plans are well developed and able to be executed, and future targets are meaningful and achievable.

**Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:**

**Planning Design**

Accountable for designing and agreeing the Planning Design in accordance with the Supply Chain Blue Print and Global Supply Planning standards.

Including formal process with PET to agree scheduling rules and constraints i.e. preferred sequence, production rates, changeover times, other planning relevant constraints (e.g. Labor, Suppliers).

Including formal process with GSPs and upstream/downstream Asset Planners to agree location and sizing of stock pockets.

Including formal processes with GSPs to sign off on make frequency / minimum make quantities.

Including formal sign off with PET leaders and senior site managers to the agreed design; the expectation is this should be built into site cost and performance targets.

Determination of New Product Introduction placement and modelling for PA Assets

Including delivery of Site Business Improvement Plans

Monthly renewal (pre S&OP)

Accountable for setting up and leading a robust monthly review process (pre S&OP) that validates there is a feasible and optimal supply plan vs. the agreed design based on the latest view of demand (as in APO on WD11). Accountable to ensure they have the right information / internal sign offs to validate the plan and this is visible in APO. Includes the following activities:

Validate short term planning outlook is meeting service and inventory targets (0-3 months)

Validate ongoing production performance is in line with agreed planning design and master data standards in APO (rates/routings) are accurate and current

Ensure all significant planned events (that effect capacity /inventory projections) are built into APO including shutdowns, stock builds, asset transfers etc

Ensure where applicable the correct balancing of multiple flavours of API in the APO supply plan

Formal sign off with the PET on latest view of the plan including assumptions and agreed mitigations to achieve a balanced plan

Business Process Owner for Renewal and Events Management. Ensure all process documentation is complete and up-to-date; hold regular meetings of Execution leads to ensure processes are working as intended and identify any areas for improvement; measure process KPIs on a regular basis and report metrics as required.

Monthly PS&OP

The SCC plays a key role in the monthly PS&OP and is accountable for representing their site / assets in the monthly Product S&OP meetings

Providing timely and complete inputs using the standard templates.

Providing context and narrative to support the standard template inputs.

Flagging assumptions and risks and explaining the impact these have on the E2E supply chain.

Formally escalating issues where the supply plan cannot be balanced with local solutions and working collaboratively with the GSP, MCAMs and other sites to agree a way forward.

Inventory Management and Forecasting

Inventory Actuals Accountable Portfolio

Responsible for variance analysis of inventory Actuals vs Phased Budget / RBU / ABU, reported through Days Cover, Stock Tolerance and Statutory reporting, providing commentary and Root Cause Analysis.

Phased Budget / ABU / RBU / Business Plan submission

Responsible to provide Inventory forecast volumes / Days Cover / Lead times for all site Inventory, and Bulk sizing.

Responsible to validate site planning parameters for all CMI finished packs in Market.

Responsible for providing production volumes and site Capacity planning data in line with Global standards / timelines / formats.

Short dated, slow moving or unusable inventory:

Analyses inventory to understand which items are likely to become short-dated

Collaborate with Production PETs to understand which inventory items are likely to become unusable

Establish/manage reserves for all short-dated and/or unusable direct materials, work- in-process and/or finished goods. Collaborate with Finance to ensure all reserves are recorded appropriately.

Oversee site activities to ensure destruction of short-dated and/or unusable products in a timely manner.

Supply chain analytics as required in support of overall SP PET accountabilities.

Use supply chain expertise to recommend improvement initiatives

Lead implementation of approved initiatives

Use long term planning forecasts to create potential scenarios to analyze site capabilities and recommend changes to resources to adapt to prospective change

**Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience**


Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline

5 years professional experience in supply chain management, demand/supply/materials planning and/or a related discipline, with a minimum 3 years directly in a planning role

SAP APO and/or ECC expertise, preferably with implementation experience

Strong MS Excel spreadsheet knowledge
