**Service Desk Analyst in Minneapolis, MN**

Kelly Services is currently seeking 1-2 Service Desk Analyst roles for one of our top clients in Minneapolis, MN.

This a permanent/direct hire role, candidates would need to be onsite in downtown Minneapolis. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST.

The Service Desk Analyst acts as the first point of contact for IT service requests, providing exceptional customer service. Accurately resolve requests in a timely manner and communicate effectively with IT customers. Escalate requests as required, while maintaining suitable and updated documentation.


+ Timely response to requests for technical assistance electronically, in person, or via phone

+ Identify and resolve technical hardware and software concerns assigned to them.

+ Research solutions using various information resources.

+ Counsel users on appropriate action, sometimes tutoring of a user might be required.

+ Adhere to standard service desk procedures.

+ Log all service desk communications and document issue resolution using an ITSM system.

+ Identify and prioritize situations that require urgent attention.

+ Stay up-to-date with system information, changes and updates.

+ Maintain exceptional communication with all end users and other related members in the technology department.

+ Work with outside vendors if needed.

+ Install and support user applications.

+ Additional duties as required.

+ As applicable is responsible for the site implementation of TWI (Training within Industry) methodology and others directed towards optimizing training practices across all operational areas.

+ Experience as subject matter trainer to conduct training sessions i.e. quality system related topics and to certify employees as trainers across the company.

+ Knowledge of Desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.

+ Skilled in problem solving, research and customer service.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person.

+ Familiarity with the ITIL Framework


+ 3 to 5 years of related experience.

+ Associates Degree (Two Years in technical program)


+ Microsoft Certifications (preferred)
