**Position is currently remote, but must report to an office once safe to do so in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania**

**LOCATION:** Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania


**Summary:**


Our Global Client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to assist their SNOW team to stabilize the existing platform, assist with the upgrades, and accelerate the implementation of the following features: Service Requests, CMDB, SAM, Discovery, SLA, and IAM integration.


**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**

Architecture and deployment of new solution, modules, and features

Assist in developing ServiceNow strategic roadmap

Creation of technical and functional documents for ongoing maintenance items and projects.

Provide ServiceNow Administration and Functional/Development Support

Perform Systems Integration Testing and manage/coordinate user acceptance testing

Workflow and Approval configuration

Conduct informal knowledge sharing sessions with the technical support team

Work independently on projects to implement, document, and knowledge transfer

Understand business requirements and suggest enhancements and process improvements

Provide guidance to team to validate technical requirements and project plans


**Required Qualifications:**

Minimum 5+ years of ITSM development and administration experience in an enterprise environment with ServiceNow experience and/or ServiceNow System Administrator Certification

Proficiency with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Discovery, Knowledge, CMDB, etc.

Experience with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, archiving, etc.

Experience administering, configuring, developing, and customizing ServiceNow and related integrations

Strong understanding of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its relationship to asset management and IT service management processes

Strong Knowledge of the ITSM Framework

Ability to work with end users, technical staff, and management as necessary

Needs to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills

Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills

Ability to troubleshoot technical/application problems


**Desired Qualifications:**

Experience with working or developing in the following programming languages: JavaScript, Client and Server-side Scripting, ServiceNow API's, Web Services

Understanding of ITSM best practices and ITIL principles (ITIL V3 Certification)

Prior training/certifications for supported applications are preferable

Experience with ServiceNow automated discovery tool

Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features

Familiarity with IT technologies including common hardware, networking, and software licensing

Experience with ServiceNow deployments with large multi-language international companies
