**Remote SharePoint Developer**



This position will be a temporary position, possibly 3 months. The SharePoint Developer will need to modify an existing SharePoint site. Needs to be familiar with Agile User Stories and be able to back into existing code in order to rebuild to current site needs. He/she will support the communication process from start to finish with the goal of delivering high standard of quality and keeping efficiency in mind. This individual will be documenting and improving a highly interactive site that supports several groups and projects while adhering to pre-defined processes.



**Work Environment:**




+ Remote

+ Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST



**Pay Rate:** $35/hr W-2 (paid weekly)



**Responsibilities:**




+ Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.

+ Complete corporate training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures. Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.

+ Support and improve the SharePoint site utilized by several departments to identify approved lab facility locations, including adding new or modifying existing functionality and workflows and performing global replacements, all without affecting the integrity of the data.

+ Ensure continuous alignment with Contract Coordinators, other internal stakeholders, and IT, as applicable.

+ Ensure all communication content modified and/or created fulfill our brand guidelines and meet compliance accuracy and approval requirements.

+ Need to be able to back into existing SharePoint code, add/remove Metadata, revise dropdown selctions

+ Document the existing system and create a manual showing all workflows, scripts, etc. in the form of a simple to read and understand playbook so that future changes to system are easy to make.

+ Create reporting options as directed by the internal user community

+ Implement workflows as directed by the internal user comunity



**Minimum Experience:**




+ Bachelors Degree Required

+ 1-3 Years serving in a content development capacity; Medical Device experience preferred

+ High technological and business aptitude

+ Experience in SharePoint Programming, basic web designing, developing web-parts to ease end users need

+ Microsoft certification preferred

+ Experience with Agile User Stories or Agile Software Development

+ Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate with team effectively to positively influence collaboration, drive results and achieve desired outcomes in a fast-paced, complex environment.

+ Strong analytical skills and ability to execute with accuracy. Able to support compliance and validation efforts.

+ Ability to work in a team environment
