Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports all warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, material movement and inventory control to ensure excellent safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance. Leads by driving continuous improvement behaviors and activities to eliminate waste and attain positive key performance indicator results.


**Shift available:**


**2nd shift hours- Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm**


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:


Manages, oversees, and analyzes all warehouse procedures and shipment handling required for products


Subject matter expert surrounding tracking shipments, providing flight details, proof of delivery, etc. per customer needs and inquiries.


Requires ability to locate and change orders at the last minute with customer service department per request(s) of the customer


Active participation in department meetings to resolve shipping errors, discuss and resolve issues pertaining to the shipping department as well as attending meetings of other work areas


Maintains working knowledge of SAP to assist in processing of daily shipments. Work with other departments as needed to process shipping paperwork accurately and in a timely manner


Escalates processing errors that could impact orders or that have resulted in customer service issues and/or errors


Drives policies/procedures revisions associated with shipping materials as needed.


Responsible for answering/resolving shipping related questions


Responsible for inclusion of proper paperwork to support sustainable audit compliance


Required to be on call for weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns


Processes FSOs update online database daily, contact carriers as needed and prepare any invoices, SEDs, bills of lading required to affect the shipment of FSOs


Distributes daily listing to Accounting Department and creates FSOs to move goods that are not on a customer order between Pall facilities required for back-up documentation


Processes customer orders, contacting carriers if needed, prepares bills of lading, invoices, SEDs if required and any other special documentation that is required. This also includes special packing lists, invoices, and bills of lading for shipments


Strong understanding and compliance of company safety policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety literature, using required protective equipment, and practicing good housekeeping


Ensure a safe working environment exists consistent with OSHA and company policies and safety equipment is maintained and effectively used


Ensure that environmental regulations and good practices are adhered to


Performs other duties related to this role


AAS in Business or related technical field


2 years experience in shipping or five (5) years experiences in a related discipline


Data certification required to ship Dangerous Goods via air


Regulatory and Compliance background in trucking material


Required experience in handling Hazardous Materials
