Kelly Services is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in St. Louis, MO!


Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm M-F


Pay: $15.00/hour


Location: St. Louis, MO 63146


Job Title: Shipping and Receiving


SUMMARY: Shipping finished goods to customer and receiving incoming purchased items.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Shipping


+ Ensures that all items are properly packed.

+ Ensures that the correct items are shipped.

+ Ensures that the proper paperwork is established.

+ Ensures that all shipments leave at their designated times.


Receive purchased items and process transactions


+ Verify accuracy and quantities of items - Track serial numbers where applicable

+ Monitor condition and completeness of items

+ Ensures that parts will be distributed without delay to internal recipients

+ Expedite and route components to various locations and projects

+ Store inventory items in proper locations

+ Coordinate and pack return items

+ Monitor shipping supplies

+ Proficient with MS Office and Windows applications.

+ Monitor On-Hand quantities and condition of items in inventory

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to efficiently manage desktop functions, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP system.
