+ This long term contract position is located onsite in Midland, MI USA at Dow Chemical Company.
+ $17.00-25.00.hr based on relevent experience
+ M-F 8am-5pm
+ Experience with *Diamond Learning* and SharePoint IS HUGE PLUS
**Job Mission**

The **_Corteva Michigan Site Learning Coordinator_** is a site role integral to supporting Dow’s Corteva Michigan Site Learning & Development strategic goals for learning and people development:


+ By partnering with Site Learning Leadership to promote and coordinate a proactive and effective site training program to meet business, plant, function, and individual goals in support of a highly reliable and sustainable workforce.
+ By providing a site resource to assist resource leaders, teams and individuals in determining the appropriate training to meet their needs and goals. Works with Training Networks (local, global, business, site function) to assign and coordinate the delivery of training to meet business, function, plant, and individual goals.
+ The Learning Coordination role is a critical learning implementation role for Corteva Michigan to enable an effective knowledge transfer for new employees and ensure long term maintenance and a continual increase of knowledge for current employees.
**_Preferred Experience / Skills:_**

+ 1 to 2 years’ experience
+ Strong project management skills
+ Ability to independently research issues and make effective recommendations using critical thinking skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, and SharePoint
+ Strong attention to detail and organization skills
+ Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
+ Excellent communicator. Able to work both independently and within a team
+ Competence in utilizing the Learning Management System and related operating discipline.
+ Understanding local, business and global ODMS training requirements for plant/department.
**_Primary Responsibilities:_**


+ This role will provide learning coordination for the site and site supported areas*.
+ In conjunction with Leadership, coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of the site and site supported areas training programs to ensure compliance is achieved for all training policies and requirements.
+ Ensures local, global, and business curriculums are assigned in line with needs and requirements.
+ Partners with Resource Leaders, site supported area Leaders, Site Learning Leaders and new employees to develop and maintain employee specific training schedules and plans.
+ Provides feedback on global curriculums and learning resources to the appropriate owner or functional mailbox.
+ Requests and submits approval of Waivers in accordance with established operating discipline.
+ Ensures all required employee training records are up-to-date and maintained in the Learning Management System.
+ Tracks compliance and communicates overdue training items to employees, teams and leadership to deliver 100% training compliance.
+ Acts as the subject matter expert for the Learning Management System and provides OESs with LMS administrative support.
+ Maintain site Role Assignment Spreadsheet (RAS).
+ Interacts with Learning Management System Team to implement local course and curriculum changes utilizing the approved operating discipline.
+ Performs audit related reporting (ex. MSR, EH&S Integrated Audits, ISO).
+ Manages site and site supported areas curricula.
+ Involvement in onboarding of new employees and contractors into the site.
+ Work with Course Owners / SMEs, to coordinate the development of local training via the Global Course Design Guide.
+ Ensures appropriate local subject matter experts review and approve site specific training and learning resources and that all site learning resources are up-to-date and available.
+ Supports learning projects at the local level.
+ Coordinates delivery of Instructor Led courses including forecasting and scheduling with local vendors.
+ Notifies learners of enrollment opportunities.
+ Works with MOC owners to ensure that training related requirements are achieved.
+ Optimizes cost of delivery for local and global training in site.
+ Actively participates in local/regional learning networks to stay up to date and leverage best practices.
This role will also have the additional OEM responsibilities for the site:


+ Proctoring of tests
+ Management of testing assignments

+ Manage Item Analysis processes such that testing is fair and accurate
+ Update plants Learner Spreadsheets
+ Manage test changes and corrections
+ Assure accuracy of learner reports
+ Support OESs in development of tools
+ Facilitate Learning Review Boards (LRB)
*Site Supported Areas – small non-production functions and other small areas that do not have an OES or Training Coordinator.

**_Education and Certification Requirements:_**

BS or BA degree, ideally in Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human resources, organizational communication, or related field. Extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
