Software Developer for Web and Mobile Apps

As a Software Developer at WCG-Verasci, you will help design, develop, and advance our products and systems using an agile scrum process. Youll work with our Product Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, DevOps, and other Stakeholders to turn product requirements into high quality products. Our products run on iOS and Android devices and are built using technologies including but not limited to the Ionic Framework, TypeScript and Angular. Our products are backed by cloud-hosted REST APIs and a web portal built using Microsoft Azure, C# and ASP.Net WebApi. We use Azure DevOps to manage all aspects of our SDLC including but not limited to our build and release pipelines. Your Role:
  • Collaborates with others to solve problems daily.
  • Communicates and works within a cross-functional team to understand requirements and priorities.
  • Uses Ionic, Angular, Typescript, .Net and other technologies to develop new user interfaces, features, clinical assessments, and fix bugs in our Pathway eCOA and ePRO products.
  • Communicates and works within a cross-functional team to deliver high-value, high-quality software and systems that meets end-user, functional, performance and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributes actively and regularly to agile scrum ceremonies.
  • Participates in the support of our Production Systems.
  • Engages and contributes to code reviews regularly to improve code quality.
  • Drives continuous improvement through contributions in Sprint Retrospectives as well as through day-to-day interactions and work.
  • Provides technical review and advises on creation of requirements documents and test cases.
  • Provides development task estimates to Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other Stakeholders.
  • Reviews and helps to maintain software documentation, including, but not limited to:
    • Software/System Architecture & Design specs
    • Data models
    • UI wireframes
    • Development and technology standards and processes

What You Will Bring:
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or relevant education and experience)
  • Experience with non-native web and/or mobile app development
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Typescript and/or Javascript languages (Typescript preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using Angular or other SPA framework (Angular 2 or later preferred)
  • Experience developing in an agile or scrum environment
  • Experience working in pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry a plus
  • Knowledge C-DISC standards or experience with clinical research data a plus
  • Positivity, ability to problem solve, eagerness to learn and team collaboration and enthusiasm to build software for our mission-driven company!
