We have a great opportunity for a Sourcing Clerk at our Client E J Gallo Winery in Modesto. This job will be on-site at E&J Gallo in Modesto, CA.

Pay is 18.00/hr

Sourcing Clerk

This is a temporary assignment that is 3- 6 months and could go longer

Schedule-Days/Time: Monday- Friday, anytime between 8:00 am -5:00pm.

Support Supplier Operations Team in compiling information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of materials, Vendor relations, and Vendor management. Must have intermediate MS Excel skills and willing to take an Excel test.

**Job Responsibilities Include:**

-Knowledge of working in a Share Drive environment where documents are updated and stored.

-Monitor a mailbox with various Vendor information and adding new Vendors.

-Working the Cognito Ticket System adding new Vendors and updating existing Vendors.

-Develops queries, generates and distributes reports when necessary.

-Creates and maintains computerized files, spreadsheets and databases

-Maintains appropriate records, files and documentation this includes both hard and soft copies, verifies information and resolves routine problems .

-Develops and maintains comprehensive administrative processes that improve the efficiency of day-to-day operations.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- **Excel intermediate** V-lookup, basic Pivot Tables , basic formulas -Communication verbal and written

-Ability to work in a team and part of a project team

-Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

-Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

-Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

-Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

-Skilled in the use of MS Word at a basic level.

-Ability to adapt to other software applications


-2 years administrative or general office experience.

-Applies basic skills and develops advanced skills appropriate for the position.

-Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. -Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

-Demonstrates a sense of urgency.

-SAP experience is a plus, but not necessary

**Education** :

-Must have High school diploma or State-issued equivalency
