PAY: $20.00/hr


Shift: Days, M-F, 8am - 5pm


Type: Temp - Will work remote & local candidates only as may need to be required to be on-site or at Retailer or office location in Rogers AR


Duration: 6 months - could go longer


Under minimal supervision, creates, maintains and implements planograms designed to meet retail customer needs, enhancing wine sales for customers. Optimizes store space and uses set philosophy to bring additional shoppers into the aisle and make the aisle more shoppable (e.g., ensuring product is accessible, the set is functional, and brands are easy to locate.)


Essential Functions

-Works on assigned customer schematics and projects as directed to optimize store space and assist retailer in growing the wine category, adhering to project timelines.


-Leads the development of Plan-O-Grams.


-Uses JDA Space Planning technology to draw sets and deliver to internal management team or directly to a retail partner.


-Develops list of questions/concerns based on set drawings and consults with management to resolve.


-Adheres to "Best Practices" methodologies in all steps of the category development process.


-Efficiently designs multiple set configurations to meet customer needs.


-Prepares a plan that most effectively employs wine department space, calculating space allotment for each item, brand, and wine style.


-Leverages information regarding store flow and dimensions of available space, considering number of brands and square footage as well as inhibiting factors to maximize set configuration.


-Determines best product placement and assortment based on analysis using wine set philosophy and key principles


-Combines multiple data sources such as IRI, Nielsen and retailer sales information into a usable format for drawing schematics.


-Works across retail chains, if applicable, to create efficiencies.


-Pulls data and compiles reports. Makes inferences from data, as required, to help grow retailer business.


-Gathers and prepares data for group/team presentations and provides to management.


-Leverages attention to detail, organizational skills, visualization and computer skills.


-Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.


-Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree; OR Associate's Degree plus 2 years of sales, sales support, marketing, or marketing support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Current college/university student with 4 completed semesters of college coursework (completion of sophomore academic standing and starting junior academic standing) plus 2 years of sales, sales support, marketing, or marketing support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of sales, sales support, marketing, or marketing support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


-Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.


-Skilled in writing simple correspondence.


-Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.


-Skilled in the use of MS Word and MS Excel at an intermediate level; MS PowerPoint at a basic level.


Preferred Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of sales, sales support, marketing, or marketing support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


-Skilled in the use of MS Access at an intermediate level.


-Knowledge of Space Planning (ProSpace) software and Apollo, Chain, IRI, Spectra data and query tools such as Brio.


-Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportion, percentage, area, circumference and volume.


-Skilled in working in group/team environments.


-Experience reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.


-Skilled in writing simple correspondence.


-Experience with to effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.


-Skilled in carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.


-Experience dealing with problems involving a variety of concrete variables in situations standardized situations.


-Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of sales, sales support, marketing, or marketing support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


-Skilled in the use of MS Access at an intermediate level.
