Description **Kelly Servicees is looking for a Specification/Label Technician**

**12 month contract**



The primary role of the Specification/Label technician is supporting specification and label editors with the initiating of document changes in SAP DMS and the creation/modificaion of redline documents into document templates, as applicable. Specification technicians also support the editors by performing document or text searches in SAP DMS

Create Document Change Request packages which include performing document or text searches in SAP DMS. All new manufacturing documents require formatting into new templates and proofreading to insure the quality of the document content is intact. All documents require a high degree of accuracy achieving 95% first pass acceptance and compliance using approved templates. Resolve problems/discrepancies on issues pertaining to incorrect or unclear, mark ups.
Create/ revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) owned by 095N or owned by other functions within Quality..
Initiate DCR/DIRs for Material Master Quality data. Input the requested data into SAP and provide objective evidence that the information has been input correctly before closing the DCR/DIR.
Use a comparator program to proofread the draft document against redlined copy, verifying spelling, accuracy, format and readability, as needed.
Execute projects and meet required deadlines, as applicable.
Assure specifications, label artwork, and printed material samples are properly filed in 095N file room. Insure documents with distribution outside of Hospira are distributed in a timely manner. Submit specification histories and artwork files to corporate records in a timely manner.


+ Ensure compliance to ISOTrain requirements
+ Ensure good documentation practices are followed.
+ Assign new document and/or label commodity numbers per department procedure.
+ Associates Degree
+ One year experience, preferably in a regulatory, quality or compliance position.
+ Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
+ Experience with SAP, preferred
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Ensure accurate and timely release of documents, to manufacturing facilities and suppliers. Inaccurate documentation or late release can delay product introductions or changes in the manufacturing process which could result in loss of product sales, delayed implementation of design improvements and may negatively affect labor costs and product marketability.
+ Documentation and labeling development is conducted in an office environment with adequate lighting, computer access, meeting rooms, and WeBEx capability.
