SQL Programmer + SSIS & SSRS -- MO

The role will be responsible for developing and maintain reporting and data visualization solutions based out of the exiting Data Warehouse. This role will work with the Data Architect to identify new business areas to incorporate into the Data Warehouse as well as refining and improving existing business areas. Working with the Data Architect, will also support existing and develop new integrations between the Data Warehouse and external systems including other in-house databases as well as external systems.


Manage datasets going into and out of BI Reporting systems

Create new visualizations utilizing data from Oracle, SQL Server and the Data Warehouse

Build & load enterprise information into existing Data Warehouse

Work directly with business users to gather requirements for new reports as well as changes to existing reports

Provide guidance and mentoring to IT Organization as needed.

Assist with managing custom application development

Create delivery model strategies

Provide scalable services related to high performance visualization tools and infrastructure design.

Provide quality assurance of imported data and visualizations

Train end users on new reports and visualizations

Design & monitor end-user reporting tools and systems, ensuring reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Map configurations and complex data architectures, ensuring documentation meets current and forecasted needs.

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology OR 5+ years related experience



5+ years working in a role actively managing, designing and maintaining queries for downstream reporting functions

3+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server

3+ years building and maintaining data visualizations. Experience with Tableau preferred.

A deep understanding of SQL Server data visualization best practices is essential

Significant experience in design, development, and maintenance of data analytics

Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations

Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases

Experience with developing interfaces between SQL Server and other databases / systems. Experience with using web services (REST, ODATA, etc.) preferred.
