The Sr Business System Analyst - Supply Chain serves as the senior subject matter expert for Oracle Supply Chain modules (Quality, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Order Management) and is responsible for providing solution development, operational and project support to empower business users and support future upgrades. The Sr Business Systems Analyst leverages deep business process knowledge and functional experience with Oracle Supply Chain modules to drive continuous improvement and process simplification - The Sr Business Systems Analyst partners with key stakeholders in order to understand business needs and formulate solutions using Oracle application features and industry best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Solution Development

Consult with business leaders and daily system users to identify and document functional needs, procedures and opportunities for improvement

Working with the IT team, define possible solutions to business needs and guide IT and business leaders in choosing the best option and approach

Create and update business process documents as they relate to SCM processes

Create requirements, functional specifications, unit and integrated test scenarios and other relevant artifacts necessary for implementation of IT solutions

Operational Support

Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and resolving day-to-day IT issues as they relate to SCM applications

Support core SCM as well as custom processes - core modules include Quality, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Order Management

Troubleshoot, analyze and identify root issue causes using TOAD/SQL developer queries

Support the business in the development and execution of canned and ad hoc reports

Create or update end user training documents and guides

Provide hands-on training to end users on various aspects of applications

Coordinate and guide offshore team for faster issue resolution

Resolve product issues by opening, updating and escalating service tickets with product vendors

Provide production support using Service Now and procedures for tracking, user communication and service level management

Project Support

Create and maintain IT project plans

Execute projects and enhancements using appropriate tools and methodologies

Monitor and control project activities per the plan and communicate status to key stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Functional Knowledge & Skills

Strong functional knowledge in core Oracle Supply Chain products (Quality, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Order Management) required

Exposure to Financial modules in Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP preferred

Knowledge of OUM (Oracle Unified Methodology) or equivalent and related deliverables

Understanding of key operational metrics such as OEE and experience implementing IT solutions for those metrics

Oracle Quality

Oracle Process Manufacturing (Inventory, WIP, Costing)

Oracle Purchasing

Oracle Order Management and Pricing

Oracle Planning Central/Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)

Oracle Maintenance

Working knowledge of Oracle EBS

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Advanced working knowledge of PL/SQL

Familiarity with OBIEE and OAC

Business Knowledge & Skills

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate with stakeholders and vendors at all levels

Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-project environment and support multiple internal customers

Continuously learning with the ability to master new technologies, application modules, standards and best practices

Education, Experience and Certifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required

Minimum of 8 years of experience in supporting and implementing Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP Supply Chain modules

Have performed at least 1 full life cycle implementation of Oracle EBS/cloud modules in recent releases

Experience in food and beverage industries, process manufacturing or a related field preferred
