**Job Description**


Kelly Services is now hiring a Benefits Manager. This position serves as the subject matter expert and advises on benefits for all staff. Responsible for the administration of medical, dental, vision, wellness program, student loan benefit plan, retirement benefit plan, worker-s compensation, leave of absence plans including FMLA and other programs for the company.

Essential Job Functions

- Oversees the design, implementation, maintenance and compliance of health/welfare, retirement, and wellness plans while ensuring consistency with best practices and organizational policies, standards, and procedures.

- Administers the company benefit programs to include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, FSA, HSA, HRA, leave policies, 401k, student loan benefit, and all other related company benefit plans.

- Manages relationships with brokers to implement strategy and services.

- Assist employees with navigating all company-sponsored benefit and leave plans; resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting policies and procedures; resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Act as the annual open enrollment project lead by managing tasks and deliverables, including participating in system testing, facilitating annual enrollment meetings, training internal teams on benefit changes, and developing communications to facilitate the process.

- Work closely with third party providers as needed to maintain benefit file feed processing continuity.

- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

- Maintains policy related documents and records.

- Establishes and implements customer service standards for benefits; resolves operational and customer service issues, makes decisions that are inclusive of multiple perspectives and solves underlying problems.

- Interprets and administers leave programs; serves as the subject matter expert for benefits, leave and worker-s compensation programs.

- Oversees administrative aspects of leave and worker-s comp claims to include tracking hours used/taken and works closely with payroll to ensure pay for employees is accurate.

- Lead annual audits and prepare annual plan filings and notices required by law (e.g., Dependent Care FSA nondiscrimination testing, 5500 Filing, Medicare Part D Creditable Coverage) to ensure the company satisfies the reporting and disclosure requirements to remain compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and other federal laws.

- Serves as primary point of contact for implementing and transitioning newly acquired groups into the benefits programs of SSG; aligns and manages projects on an ongoing basis.

- Reconciles benefits accounts by approving billing statements.

- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

- Maintains professional and positive attitude at all times with staff, customers, vendors and clients. Excellent customer service skills to include diplomacy and tact.

- Support special projects as needed.


**Requirements**


- Bachelor-s Degree and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in a benefits leadership position required.

- 3+ years of experience managing a benefits function preferably including multi-state benefit programs.

- CBP, PHR or SPHR certification helpful.

- Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

- Resourceful; knows how to access and research multiple sources of information is important.

- Ability to execute; utilize tools and methodology to understand multiple workstreams and various priorities.

- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and use independent judgment to make decisions.

- Experience utilizing file feed processes and systems; Kronos or similar workforce management program experience preferred.

- Confidence and professionalism in working all levels of staff.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

- Helpful, proactive and enthusiastic team player, willing to assist others when necessary.
