Kelly IT Resources is working directly with a local, very successful, boutique IT consulting and systems integration firm. They are focused on providing white glove IT service to their clients around the bay area. We are exclusively aiding them in their direct hire/perm search for a skilled, self-motivated, talented Sr. IT Support Engineer to join their IT Field Team. The company is also currently developing its own MSP offering--which the ideal candidate will also have a hand in building.



The goal of the Sr. IT Support Engineer is to ensure the highest level of end user productivity. They will work with users to proactively identify their requirements, triage requests and own requests until completion. The Sr. IT Support Engineer will ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.



**Sr. IT Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:**




+ Take initial inquiries, troubleshooting and managing hardware, software or network problems

+ Recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to appropriate individuals

+ Manage relatively simple tasks and issues with server and network infrastructure

+ Manage endpoints via Mobile Device Management (MDM)

+ Support and maintain Audio/Video (AV) systems

+ Assist in maintaining physical inventory of IT hardware and supplies

+ Manage and keep IT projects on track

+ Stay abreast of current and developing technologies and identify training to further oneself



**Sr. IT Support Engineer Required Skills, Traits & Competencies:**




+ Experience with corporate IT best practices

+ Experience supporting cloud/SaaS services such as Office 365, G Suite, Box, Okta, Duo, and Slack

+ Experience supporting traditional server hardware/software

+ Expert knowledge of Windows and Apple systems and software

+ Comfortable working in fast growth environments

+ Excellent communication & documentation skills ability to explain highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

+ Self-reliant, yet works well within a team

+ Ability to navigate high stress environments and demanding customers

+ Willingness to travel 40 miles or more to client sites and work after hours on occasion



**Sr. IT Support Engineer Highly Preferred Traits & Skills**




+ College graduate with at least 4 years of relevant experience

+ Candidates with financial services experience

+ Prior experience managing the following:

+ Email Office 365, G Suite, Mimecast

+ Storage Box, Dropbox

+ SSO Okta, OneLogin

+ MFA Duo

+ MDM Intune, JAMF

+ Communication Slack, Zoom, RingCentral

+ Identity Active Directory, LDAP

+ Imaging WDS/MDT, JAMF

+ Networking Cisco IOS, Meraki

+ Scripting PowerShell, Python
