KellyOCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, is currently seeking a **Senior Manufacturing Engineer** for a long-term engagement at a premier Medical Device Manufacturing client in **Raynham, MA**



As a **Senior Manufacturing Engineer** placed with Kelly Services you will be responsible for the following:



This manufacturing engineering position will be supporting new product development (NPD) instrumentation projects in a professional and efficient manner.





**Job requirements:**



A minimum of a bachelors degree in Engineering with a strong preference in Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree such as MS Engineering and/or MBA is a plus.



Work experience in medical instrument design or manufacturing experience with Unigraphics CAD/CAM systems and advanced design applications is preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience required.



Skilled at building manufacturing process maps for machined products.



Experience in new product development on orthopedic instrument design or manufacturing preferred.



Knowledge in engineering and project management principles, Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies, FMEA to ensure potential problems are considered and addressed, risk assessment matrices, FPX tools, and scientific molding principles.



Conduct process characterizations on new product initiatives.



Quickly learn orthopedic surgical techniques and have the aptitude to drive decision-making through objective evidence.



Advanced knowledge in three-dimensional modeling, drafting, layout techniques, geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T), and perform engineering calculations as required.



Knowledge in complex manufacturing applications to meet tooling, fixturing, and product design requirements.



Knowledge in Six Sigma/DMAIC, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and lean methodologies are a plus.



Communicate and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, brainstorm solutions, develop practical innovative cost-effective design concepts, and lead change.



Ability to travel up to 15%





**Important information:** This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States immediately and without employer sponsorship ( **F1 OPT/H1B** cannot be considered for this position).
