We are currently seeking a Statistician to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD.

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

**TASKS.** The contractor shall:

+ Perform and present statistical analyses (e.g., cross-sectional, longitudinal and survival analyses) and data visualization (publication quality) using statistical software packages (e.g., STATA, R, SAS or Python) in collaboration with PI, staff and outside collaborators of the Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Unit (CTNU).

+ Work with team on data analysis and data management on various large datasets.

+ Work with project leaders and staff of the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging (BLSA) to manage and maintain metabolomic, proteomic and other databases.

+ Work with staff on research coordination of projects within the CTNU and with outside collaborators and institutions.

+ Work with PI and staff on the design of experiments, routine progress reports and manuscript preparation (as an active co-author).

+ Present analysis results and data visualization at laboratory meetings.

**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:

+ Masters degree in a science related field. Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a BA/BS degree is equivalent to a Masters degree.

+ Minimum of three (3) years of related experience working on a team on data analysis and data management on various datasets.

+ Proficiency in R, STATA, SAS, Python or other statistical packages.

+ Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

+ Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to present analyses results and data visualization at meetings.

+ Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
