**JOB** **_DESCRIPTION:_**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: This individuals primary responsibility will be to create and maintain supply strategies for Cell therapy raw materials based on the development laboratories and manufacturing demand plan. This includes: Collaboration with suppliers, and internal and external colleagues. Developing supply forecasts through clinical development plans, manufacturing demand plans, and protocol analysis. Creating supply strategies. Developing and managing supply chain timelines. Monitoring long-term inventory and allocation strategies using master data and supply systems such as Oracle.


The Supply Chain Buyer/Planner of Warren CTDO Supply Chain reports to the Senior Manager of Warren Supply Chain. This role is accountable to manage supply chain functional duties for a multi-product clinical manufacturing facility.


Responsible for patient supply and material planning and materials management.


Responsible for interpreting and analyzing demand and usage requirements for various materials to support the CAR-T Site in Warren, NJ. Those materials include typical pharmaceutical supplies such as operating supplies, general and critical raw materials, components, equipment and maintenance supplies.


This position is based in Warren, NJ.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


Understand impacts of demand on planning cycle looking forward.

Monitor product life cycles and alert appropriate team members to any actionable inventory requirements and disruption to supply.

Drive Materials Release process and be aware of any and all shortages.

Conduct investigation and root cause analyses on any supply disruptions or material quality issues and report on corrective actions.

Manage Site Supply Chain Standard Operating procedures

Own and manage deviations and corrective/preventive actions

Own and manage change controls

Optimize internal capacity and capabilities to ensure clinical needs can be met.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic ability to understand material requirements of the end user and place orders to avoid out of stock situations.

Knowledge of cGMP/Pharmaceutical regulations

Advanced proficiency in purchasing / planning / ERP systems and analytics tools

Advanced presentation development and delivery skills

Experience in a Site Supply Chain Organization

Proficiency in Site Scheduling / planning / ERP systems and analytics tools

Knowledge of fundamental concepts of materials management, planning and site production scheduling

Ability to effectively communicate problem statements and viable solution options using pro vs. con and cost vs. benefit approaches

Ability to present data and analyses in an organized, clear and concise manner

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently for extended periods of time

Education and Experience (As Applicable)

Bachelors degree required in Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or similar

2+ years relevant work experience required

2+ years of experience supporting ERP systems (preferably Oracle EBS).

An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.


**Preferred but not required:**

Certification in CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD

Experience in biopharmaceutical clinical, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercialization
