Kelly Educational Staffing is currently looking for talented individuals to fill Substitute Custodian positions working in the schools located within the Colleton County School District. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. A High School Diploma/GED is preferred, but not required.These flexible positions can be full-time or an excellent source of part-time supplemental income.

Positions available:

Substitute Custodian, Colleton County Schools (all schools)

Education verification (HS Diploma/GED preferred)

2 Letters of professional references

TB Skin Test within last year

Availability to work 10 days a month

Those who possess the qualifications and/or experience listed above meet the requirements for custodial positions, and are also eligible to remain in a long-term assignment. Responsibilities may include assisting in providing. Job requires the ability to read and write, and to follow oral and written instructions; ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility; ability to work well with supervisor, co-workers and the general public; ability to use and care for a variety of cleaning and landscaping agents, materials and equipment; skill in performing general maintenance incidental to regular duties and/or area of assignment; perform physical requirements which may include: moderate to extensive degree of physical stamina and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; ability to lift and move furniture, desks, shelving, staging, cleaning supplies, etc; ability to operate buffers, scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment; ability to climb ladders, stretching and bending to perform cleaning, repairs, painting, and cleaning of roofs, gutters and drains; ability to walk to various locations within the school building and the grounds; ability to work primarily in a standing position and possible exposure to bodily fluids in cleaning due to student injury or illness.

As a Kelly Services employee you shall work under the direction of the School Districts full-time Custodian Manager or other designee. And other responsibilities as needed in a school setting.

Compensation: $7.73/per hour
