We are seeking a **Supplier Mangement Analyst** for a leading manufacturing company in **Chicago, IL!**


**Schedule:** **Hybrid, M-F (2 days remote, 3 days onsite)**


**Assignment:** 6 months (temp to perm for the right candidate)


**Pay:** $36.02/hour


**OVERVIEW**


This position is responsible for the ongoing delivery of supplier management activities to govern suppliers. Functional responsibilities to support the supplier management framework include: intake management, performance management and relationship management. Partner with internal business areas and suppliers to ensure business expectations and contractual obligations are met through metrics and KPI maintenance.


**RESPONSIBILITIES**


1. Adheres to processes to ensure value is delivered through quality, cost savings, and return on investment.

2. Support supplier demand and capacity including managing invoices, onboarding, and offboarding.

3. Maintain sound relationships and alignment with internal and external partners.

4. Maintain contracts and assist with repository management.

5. Prepare reports on supplier performance throughout the lifecycle of the supplier interaction.

6. Document and raise risks and issues associated with supplier and/or HCSC non-performance to leaders and support resolution.

7. Support supplier financial management including budget projections, analyzing current spend, invoice tracking, and ROI assessment.

8. Support contract negotiations and RFP activities, as requested

9. Participate in special projects, as assigned.


**QUALIFICATIONS**


* Bachelor's OR 2-4 years of experience in managing supplier relationships

* Knowledge of managing contracts, customer relationships and suppliers.

* Ability to support projects, manage time effectively, and prioritize.

* Ability to grasp and simplify concepts/processes toward tangible results.

* Ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, leaders, customers, etc.

* Analytical thinking and problem solving.

* Adaptability/ability to manage change.

* Teamwork and collaboration.


Preferred Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Health Care Management.

* Master's in Business Administration or Health Care Management.

* Advanced education or certifications in Supplier Management, Health Care Management, etc.

* Prior experience in Information Technology, Health Care Management, Customer Service, Relationship Management, Government, Insurance, and/or Healthcare.

* Knowledgeable in quality methodologies; Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies, tools, and techniques.

* Knowledge of Contract Financial Management practices including invoice tracking and budget analysis.

* Knowledge of procurement technologies.

* Knowledge of foundational IT systems, solutions, and capabilities.
