Supply Chain Manager


**Description**


We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations Team. We are seeking a customer-focused, talented, and enthusiastic self-starter Manager that communicates effectively, is process and data-driven, works well under pressure, and is eager to learn.


The supply chain manager will be responsible for oversight and direction of purchasing, negotiating contracts with critical suppliers, inventory control and planning, and shipping & receiving. The person in this position will play a major hands-on role in the overall success of the Operations Team with the goal of creating exceptional customer service by driving operational excellence in their domain.


Ideal candidates will have hands-on operations or inventory management experience and knowledge in business operations, using ERP/ MRP systems for demand forecasting models to ensure on-time availability of all manufacturing supplies and components.


**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**


+ Proactively manage and monitor inventory levels.

+ Lead materials forecast and planning.

+ Drive optimization of MRP and replenishment activities to resolve supply constraints maintain optimal inventory levels.

+ Purchase all raw materials.

+ Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.

+ Forecast material costs or develop standard cost lists.

+ Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.

+ Drive cost savings and supplier quality improvements.

+ Negotiate and set up new vendors and purchasing contracts when necessary.


**Education and Experience**


+ Bachelors Degree required

+ Preferred

+ 5+ years in an Manufacturing / Supply chain / Planning role.

+ Knowledge in advanced capability in balancing procurement, inventory management,

+ Expertise in ERP/ MRP, (NetSuite preferred).

+ Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management activities.

+ Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.

+ Experience with additive manufacturing is a plus

+ Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.


**Skills**


+ Capable in planning stocks levels (min/max). Manages inventory and establishes controls to ensure the business is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.

+ Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines.

+ Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.

+ Comfortable working in a high growth environment, where priorities shift real time.

+ Strong organizational skills, ability to work with cross functional teams

+ Analytical thinker

+ Strong verbal and written communication/documentation skills

+ Experience with QuickSight, Jira is a plus
