**Job Description**

Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the Shipping, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Warehousing/Receiving teams. Essential Responsibilities: -Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring for Supply Chain team members while demonstrating integrity, respect, and a service-first attitude. -Establish strategies to measure and manage long-term supplier relationships, focused on suppliers- performance to price, quality, quantity, and delivery goals. -Will identify, qualify, and establish sourcing agreements with new vendors. -Initiates and leads costs savings projects. -Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials. -Recognized as the supply chain subject matter expert and consults with other teams within the company to develop strategies that provide the best overall value to the company. -Acquires, maintains, and shares knowledge of the current market place as well as market trends and potential impact on the company with key internal stakeholders. -Continually drive improvements in supply chain processes. -Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows. -Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials and finished products. -Define and track performance metrics for evaluation and control of supply chain factors such as inventory turns, inventory accuracy, material cost, and on-time delivery. Implement strategies to continually drive improvements in these key performance metrics. -Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. -Participate in, and lead cross-functional teams. -Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance. -Identify and communicate projected raw material needs and constraints; work collaboratively with the Operations, Engineering, and Sales teams to develop mitigation strategies. - Minimum Requirements: -Bachelor-s degree in Business or related field and 6-8 years of supply chain management or equivalent experience. -Experience with MRP/ERP systems. -Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing methodologies a plus. -Ability to multi-task and deal with deadlines and multiple priorities. -Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. -Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and senior management with the skills to clearly present recommendations, ideas and summaries to complex issues. -Analytical skills to interpret and manage a large amount of complex data. -Ability to develop and implement creative solutions. -Professional certification in areas such as purchasing, supply chain management and / or negotiations is a plus. Essential Mental Functions: -Exhibit good decision making, analytical problem solving, statistical analysis and excellent organizational abilities. -Communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills. -Must be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. -Must have the ability to work independently and take on responsibilities, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Essential Physical Functions: -Lift up to 25 pounds. -Work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
