**$200K/year plus**


Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a systems engineer/architect on a government contract with our customer in Orlando, FL. This is a contract to hire assignment and candidates must be local to Orlando, but there is some remote work available.


**Summary:**


The **Systems Engineer/Architect V** reports up through the JLCCTC Engineering Management team and performs high-level computer systems analysis; evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills. Additionally, this position will be assigned other projects or tasks in alignment with the level and scope of the position.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Performs system requirements analysis and derivation, and manages requirements traceability and coverage

+ Modeling architectures of complex systems using standards-based languages (ex. SysML / UML)

+ Assist in the development and implementation of the DevSecOps Strategy and CI/CD pipeline

+ Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex application that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills.

+ Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases.

+ Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution.

+ Responsible for ensuring the quality and services delivered.

+ Consults with executive management on establishing and altering system engineering policies and tools to direct effective system engineering activities as well as consult, coach, and advise on strategy, business alignment, enterprise architecture, information technology solutions, and the associated impact on the organization and its stakeholders.

+ Conduct initiatives and research to develop and establish system engineering guidelines, best practices, and standards into new CMMI system engineering processes.


**Position Requirements:**


+ Bachelor's degree in field related to computer or information science discipline

+ Minimum of Seven (7) to Nine (9) years of experience supporting IT projects/programs, networking, integration and/or systems engineering.

+ Experience in one or more of the following areas: Installation and Systems Administration of Linux/Windows operating systems and SW applications; experience with VMware, Splunk, CCNA and batch & shell scripting; DOD Cyber security efforts such as IAVA management, or Vulnerability Scanning and mitigation

+ Prior experience with the US Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), other Mission Command Training Complexes or JLCCTC fielding activities is a plus.

+ Experience working in an Agile development environment.

+ Have Java and/or C++ experience.

+ Experience with Enterprise Architect MBSE

+ Experience with DevSecOps/Cloud is a plus

+ Experience with CI/CD architecture and pipelines is a plus

+ Highly proficient written and oral communication skills

+ Holds a current minimum DOD Secret security clearance.

+ Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required

This position is be operated in an office and/or computer lab type environment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
