**Application Support Specialist**

Onsite - Wallingford, CT

Application Support Specialist will provide product support on various applications, including client and end user support and technical troubleshooting.

IT Help Desk / Technical Support experience with a focus on customer support is ideal for this role. Product is proprietary, training will be provided, but previous Windows, mobile software or any technical troubleshooting experience with education will assist in the candidates success in the role.

This is a great role for someone that is looking to break into IT career.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Provide training new customers in the use of our software

+ Supporting customers via phone, email and through an online ticket system

+ Follow and maintain all standards for tracking and documenting issues throughout the lifecycle of all support cases.

+ Assisting customers with understanding product functionality.

+ Directing customers to available resources such as Online Help, Knowledge Base Articles, and customer training materials.

+ Diagnosing software issues by reviewing software setups and configuration, system settings, data, etc.

+ Troubleshooting application errors including thoroughly documenting what process they were using when they encountered the error, researching possible causes, and reviewing likely contributors.

+ Escalating suspected software defects to our Technical Support Specialists with well documented notes on troubleshooting performed.

+ Route customer requests to the appropriate internal teams.

+ Create, edit, and update Knowledge Base articles, training materials or other materials used to provide information and support to customers.

+ Provide support for multiple product lines.

+ Assist our customers with routine / scheduled administrative tasks.
