**Tech Support Reps - Remote positions!**





Kelly Services is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to work as Customer Support Reps for a premier manufacturing client in Holtsville, NY! This position will be performed remotely.

We are looking for individuals that can work under close supervision to answer general questions regarding company products and services. There will be training provided on company products and services.





**Pay rate: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour**





**Shifts available**




+ Day Shift hours: 6 AM - 6 PM $16.00/HR

+ Night Shift hours: 11 PM - 7 AM $16.50/HR






+ Candidates should be available flexible between these times. In the beginning of this project the employees will be working a minimum of 12 hours per week.

+ Days of Week- Must be Available on Sunday. All together it will be 5 days/wk. Schedule has flexibility.

+ Training: There will be a remote training class via Teams or Zoom. Training is paid and would be 1 week, 3 hours a day x 5 days.

+ Equipment: The employee will receive a Laptop and any equipment needed for their position







**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

1. Provides assistance to customers during all phases of the inventory process.

2. Assists customers with their questions about how to set-up and operate our equipment to successfully conduct their inventories.

3. Maintains appropriate response times and abandon rates as defined in the departments goals.

4. Coordinates internal operational activities to ensure each order/request is processed in a timely manner as agreed to with customer.

5. Serves as a liaison to assist client care teammates, account managers, IT and operations staff at all levels to support the needs of the customers.

6. Prepares and enters required client information/requests into departments database to document customer interaction and resolution.

7. Obtains a working knowledge of product functionality/ performance and troubleshooting methodologies to assist clients when they call in for assistance.

8. Maintains a working knowledge of the computer programs currently in use in the department.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.



*They will be fielding calls from employees working at Retail stores doing inventory. An example of calls they will be getting are:

*How do I work the Handscanner?

*How do I connect and setup the equipment?

*How can I link the handscanner to Web Reporting?

Remember, the employees will be fully trained and have Supervisors they can defer to if a problem arises.


**Education:**




+ High school or equivalent Preferred Work Experience (years): 1- 2 years of experience in Customer Support / Technical Support




**Key Skills and Competencies:**




+ Light IT background preferred.

+ Some prior customer service experience a must.

+ Excellent communications skills.

+ Computer literate; exposure to Windows environment.

+ **IT background -** Access Point, IP Address, and basic IT experience will be key in their success. Experience: Good customer service experience, doesnt have to have full on IT experience but if they have basic IT experience that works
