Description **OVERVIEW:**

The Technical Writer requires a high level of proficiency in developing SDLC documentation (i.e. URS, Test Plans, SOPs) following procedures and templates to support new Tableau and SAS Report development and validation.

The Technical Writer develops testing strategies that are well defined, planned and executed. The Technical Writer does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the Tableau or SAS Report goes live.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Chosen candidate will be converting a series of reports from one system and transitioning it to another system.
+ Will be updating procedures
+ Candidate will be preparing documentation for quality systems
+ Will be working with cross functional teams
+ Drive and/or participate with Report users to gather requirements, develop test plans and draft SOP documents that require verbal and written communication skills. (25%)
+ Work with Quality Management Software and Processes (One Voice Complaint Handling System, VIBES Non-Conformance, VIBES CAPA, VIBES Change Control) (25%)
+ Ensure that validation deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. (25%)
+ Hold and facilitate test plan reviews with cross-functional team members. (10%)
+ Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. (10%)
+ Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. (5%)
**QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ 5+ years of relevant QA Systems technical experience.
+ 3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
+ Candidate must have strong technical writing/documentation skills
+ Communication skills essential
+ Familiarity with test scripts and technology (quality systems)
+ Have an understanding of the verification process
+ Must be able to understand and interpret, to understand the intent of the procedures to match and write a process.
+ Previous experience with documentation change management systems is a must, (ideally in GXP environment)
+ Demonstrated ability to manage their own work and to take initiative on projects is a plus
+ Science/Engineering/IT background a plus
+ Advance ability with Microsoft Office Word/Excel skills is a must. Microsoft Visio is a plus.
+ Authoring technical user manuals/instructions preferably for software applications is a must
+ Authoring software test scripts is a plus.
+ Tableau experience is a plus
+ Strong listening and communication skills is a must.
