Kelly Services is looking to hire Test Accommodations Evaluators to review, research and determine special accommodations for students taking the ACT test. The work is remote until further notice, however there will be required on-site training in your first week. On-site training will be August 3rd-5th in Iowa City, IA. This is part-time work and we are looking for a commitment of at least 10 hours per week, with the ability to pick up additional work as available for additional hours. Once the site reopens fully, we request 5 of the weekly hours be completed in office. The hours are flexible, however a set weekly schedule is preferred. The hourly rate for this opportunity is $25/hr.

**Job Responsibilities**




+ Review diagnostic documentation submitted with requests for test accommodations for students with disabilities and requests for test supports for English Learners

+ Recommend disposition in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), applicable federal laws, ACT policies and procedures, and client policies.

+ Communicate by telephone and in writing with potential test takers, parents, health care providers, and school officials regarding disposition of requests for test accommodations.

+ Work cooperatively with Senior Manager, Analysts, Support Team Members and/or clients regarding unusual requests, policy matters, and legal issues.

+ Maintain professional competency regarding developments and revisions of psychoeducational assessment measures, relevant diagnoses, and emerging options for test accommodations, including, but not limited to, assistive devices for individuals with disabilities.

+ Maintain strict confidentiality of all submitted diagnostic information and decisions.

+ Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding requests for test accommodations.

+ Communicate effectively and efficiently with other staff members and with ACT clients.

+ Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding corporate information



**Experience or Educational Requirements**




+ Masters degree in counseling, psychology, special education, rehab counseling, speech/language pathology or related field and training in learning disabilities and experience evaluating cognitive disabilities and reviewing related diagnostic documentation.

+ Expertise in English Learner policy, provision of services as an English Learner teacher and/or experience evaluating English Learner needs is preferred.

+ Completed or currently working toward a Ph.D. in counseling, psychology, special education, rehab counseling or related field and training in learning disabilities and experience evaluating cognitive disabilities and reviewing related diagnostic documentation.

+ 2 to 4 years of related experience required.

+ Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
