As a Test Engineer you will develop and conduct testing on combine and/or combine header products to determine acceptability of component, subsystem and product designs; recommend alternatives to enhance performance, reliability, quality, durability and margin improvement; and work with the product development team to resolve product issues.

This role can become permanent.

**Job Title** : Test Engineer

**Work Location** : New Holland, PA

**Projected Duration** : 04/09/2018- 10/08/2018, Depending on workload and performance

**Shift** : 8 hour days / 5 days a week

**Pay Rate** : $28 to $36 an hour, Dependent on Experience


· Responsibility for executing lab tests including planning, determining test approach, test fixture design and set up and testing of components. Work with design engineers to interpret data for components to achieve desired results.

· Prepare, organize and submit timely and concise reports which include data reduction and analysis of system/component performance, reliability, and durability. Maintain accurate and comprehensive test records for reference and analysis.

· Work independently and in cooperation with other members (internal customers) of the Platform Team including design, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance as well as other test organizations within CNHi.

· Plan and organize individual work assignments to execute the tests described in the Program Design Verification Plan and / or Test Requests. This includes selecting the appropriate test hardware and instrumentation, ensuring the equipment is calibrated and installing it on the lab test stand. Decisions also include analyzing data and summarizing it into information from which decisions can be made.

· Evaluate machine performance, diagnose component malfunctions and isolate problems. Recommend improvements in the development of Ag Equipment products for both Case IH and New Holland brand products.


· Bachelor’s degree in technical, mechanical, agricultural, and/or electrical disciplines or equivalent work experience.

· The ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision and quickly learn new tools and techniques.

· Experience/knowledge in troubleshooting off-road mobile hydraulics applications, software and/or electrical systems.

· Understanding of the principles of sensing, instrumentation and measurement techniques is desired.

· Operational experience with agricultural and/or construction equipment is desired

· Good communication (oral and written) and teamwork skills.

· Excellent computer skills. The candidate should be experienced with personal computers, MS Office products and databases, specifically advanced MS Excel skills.
