Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a tester on a government contract with our customer in Washington, DC. This is a temporary to hire position.

**Job Description:**

This is an on-site position with no telecommute supporting the USPS ETS contract in Washington, DC at L'Enfant Plaza. The candidate must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive clearance prior to start. In this position, you will perform as tester for information system requirements and acceptance testing for retail and mailer systems, international, operations, and internet, intranet, and call center functions that either interface or are integrated into the USPS product tracking system.

You will conduct acceptance tests on USPS premises, using mobile data collection device (MDCD) / intelligent mail device (IMD) scanners, optical scanner workstations (OSW), mailer electronic files, mailer extract files, intranet tracking screens, internet tracking screens, product tracking system web applications, account management delivery confirmation (AMDC) system, electronic marketing reporting system (EMRS), expedited service specialist (ESS) web application, web executive information system (EIS), PTS reports, the call center agent screens or integrated voice response (IVR) system, enterprise data warehouse (EDW), POS ONE, and APCs, as appropriate. Shall produce detailed documentation regarding test results according to standards provided by USPS.

**Position Responsibilities and Duties:**

Responsible for synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.

Coordinates integrated testing activities.

Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.

Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.

Conducts software inspection, testing, verification and validation.

Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods.

Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.

Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.

Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.

Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.

Basic Qualifications:

MUST have a Bachelors degree with five or more years experience or Masters with three (3) or more years experience.

Experience with requirements analyzing and developing software requirements; software testing and experience in quality assurance in a software development environment.

Must be proficient with SQL/Oracle SQL developer.

Must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive security clearance.

Must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card holder) as required by our contract.

Must not have traveled outside of the United States for a combined period of 6 months or longer within in the last five (5) years.

Must have resided in the US for the last five (5) years.

Position is based in Washington DC and does not offer relocation assistance.
